The Philadelphia Eagles kicked off their rookie minicamp on Friday afternoon and made some signings official too.
Of the nine players that the Eagles selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, sixth-round pick wide receiver Johnny Wilson was the first to sign his rookie contract.

Per the Spotrac, Wilson gets a four-year, $4.2 million deal.
At 6-foot-6, the Florida State product stands out amongst the other Eagles receivers, so he'll be very hard to miss when he's on the field.

With height like that, you'd think the Eagles would consider moving him to tight end considering their crowded receiver room, but Wilson said he hasn't had that conversation with head coach Nick Sirianni.
For now, they view him strictly as a wide receiver.
“Being this size and being able to do some of the things I can do with my body and getting in and out of my breaks, and just having super long arms, it’s sometimes an advantage, especially to a lot of smaller corners and smaller defenders,” Wilson told reporters on Friday. “I’ve just over the years tried to do a lot of training and using my body to my advantage.”
Wilson makes the jump to the NFL after reeling in a total of 102 receptions for 1,757 receiving yards and eight touchdowns at the college level.
Along with Wilson, the Eagles signed their seven undrafted free agents.
The Eagles also announced that they have placed veteran offensive tackle Le'Raven Clark on Injured Reserve with an undisclosed injury.
