Eagles make roster moves ahead of Week 11 matchup vs. Chiefs

The Philadelphia Eagles announced two roster moves on Monday ahead of their Week 11 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team signed center Ross Pierschbacher to the practice squad and released cornerback Kindle Vildor in a corresponding move, according the NBC Sports Dave Zangaro.

The signing of an additional center caused some concern around Jason Kelce's help, but don't worry... the "Sexiest Man Alive" isn't injured or retiring anytime soon.

The reason for the move comes after the Washington Commanders poached offensive lineman Julian Good-Jones from the Eagles' practice squad last week.

Pierschbacher, 28, was initially a fifth-round pick of the Commanders in 2019. He's no stranger to Philly after having played three games with the Eagles in 2020. The Alabama product also has ties to Eagles Offensive Line Coach Jeff Stoutland, who recruited him during his coaching days in Tuscaloosa.

Pierschbache has played in 11 career games, making other stops at the New York Jets and Detroit Lions.

As for Vildor, he joined the league in 2020 as a fifth-round draft pick by the Chicago Bears. Through three seasons with the Bears, Vildor logged 97 tackles, three tackles for loss, and an interception in 44 games.
