Eagles fans receive much-needed injury update on missing secondary piece
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles' secondary has been banged up all season long and defensive coordinator Sean Desai has had trouble trying to fill Avonte Maddox's void at nickel since losing him to injured reserve.

But fear no more, reinforcement is on the way.

According to veteran cornerback Bradley Roby, he will be ready to go after the bye week.

Bradley, who has been out for several weeks with a pectoral strain, took to Twitter/X for an injury update.

"You back after the bye [week]?" a fan asked Roby.

His response: "Yessir!!"

Roby initially signed with the team in October after Maddox landed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury.

The former New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos corner has played just two games for the Eagles so far but his veteran presence has been felt amongst a young secondary unit.

"We're are excited when [CB] Bradley [Roby] gets back," Sirianni told reporters on Monday, "and we know he’s a big-time player and we’re excited that he’s on this team and excited that we have a chance to get him back this year."

The 8-1 Eagles should also see starting right guard Cam Jurgens (foot) return to action as well following the team's Week 10 bye.
