D'Onta Foreman Signs with New Team
USA TODAY Sports

Just one day after the Carolina Panthers signed free agent running back Miles Sanders to a four-year contract, former Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman is on the move, signing with the Chicago Bears on a one-year, $3 million deal.

Foreman will join fellow former Panther teammates DJ Moore and PJ Walker in Chicago.

Foreman took full advantage of his opportunity this past season after the team traded Christian McCaffrey to San Francisco. He finished the year with 914 yards and five touchdowns on 203 carries, helping Carolina turn the season around and remaining in the mix for a division crown heading into Week 17.

Although he'll thrive in Chicago, Foreman truly wanted to remain a Panther.

"I've been blessed to be in this situation," Foreman said back in January. "It feels like home now. This has probably been the only time I've been in this situation where I was the starter and just the feeling of being 'the guy'. So of course I don't want to let that go. Of course, I want to be here. Of course, I want to continue to build on what we already started."
