In Saturday's 32-18 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys return specialist KaVontae Turpin took it to the house twice — a 98-yard kick return and an 86-yard punt return — and impressed head coach Mike McCarthy.
Mike McCarthy smiled when asked if KaVontae Turpin has secured a spot on the regular season roster.

“I think there is a great chance he will return kicks against Tampa Bay,” McCarthy said.
Turpin, a 5-foot-9, 153-pounder with great agility, sliced through the Chargers with ease. He's trying to make an NFL roster for the first time in his career.
Turpin, the 2022 USFL MVP, didn't get drafted in 2019 after being dismissed from TCU. The Cowboys signed him during the first week of training camp after stints in the Fan Controled Football League, Spring League and the European League's Worclaw Panthers in Poland.
