Cowboys' former second-round pick loses job with new team

The NFL roster churn continues - even as the regular season winds down. Former Dallas Cowboys second-round pick Kelvin Joseph was released by the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dolphins acquired Joseph in exchange for 2020 first-round pick CB Noah Igbinoghene on roster cuts day during the offseason.

Joseph's career with the Cowboys was short-lived after being an early pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Joseph departed Dallas with 36 career tackles, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Joseph played in four games for Miami. He totaled two solo tackles and zero forced turnovers.

It will be interesting to see if Joseph gets another opportunity elsewhere. Once an intriguing prospect from Kentucky, Joseph is now looking for a new chance somewhere in the NFL after two frustrating stops.
