Chicago Bears 2024 Mock Draft: Final crack at the team's four selections ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The 2024 NFL Draft is mere days away from kicking off with the Chicago Bears set to make the first overall pick in the draft.

After the top pick, the Bears will be a fascinating team to watch out for the rest of the weekend to see how general manager Ryan Poles moves around the board. The Bears only have four total selections, but plenty of capital in next year's draft. It'll be interesting to see how the Bears move around the board this coming weekend.

For the sake of keeping things simple in my final mock draft of the season for the Bears, I will not be including any trades this time. Therefore, with only the Bears' current four selections, here's what I believe those four picks will look like.

1st Overall Pick: QB Caleb Williams

The Caleb Williams Era in Chicago is officially set to begin starting on Thursday, but let's be honest, the era has already started well before this week.

The Bears are fully prepared to take Williams with the top pick in the draft and shouldn’t have any second guesses about that decision, even though it could be viewed as the biggest decision in franchise history.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , Williams has already met with the team leaders in Chicago, including tight end Cole Kmet, wide receiver DJ Moore, linebacker T.J. Edwards and others. Now, the Bears top executives, coaches, and players have all gotten to know their new quarterback before he even walks in the door as a Bear.

9th Overall Pick: WR Rome Odunze

After taking their quarterback of the future, the Bears should quickly look to surround him with the best offensive talent possible.

The team's offensive core already consists of Moore, Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift, Kmet, and Gerald Everett, which is already a top offensive unit. Adding wide receiver Rome Odunze to the mix would take the group to a completely new level.

Odunze, depending on who you ask, is viewed as one of the best players in this class and landing him with the Bears second pick would be an incredible opening night. The lack of depth at the position in Chicago and the fact Allen's only on a one year deal makes this pick even more of a priority for the future of the team's offensive core.

75th Overall Pick: DE Austin Booker

Throughout the pre-draft process, the Bears have done extensive research on the edge rushing class and the wide receiver class to determine how to utilize the team's limited selections. After making the decision to go with a wide receiver at nine, I believe the Bears can still find a productive pass rusher in the third round.

After looking at all of the Bears' confirmed visits with the team, I believe that player will be Austin Booker. Booker was recently in Chicago last week for his official visit with the team and was one of the last prospects the team met with ahead of this week.

Booker has a few lingering concerns regarding his size and experience at the position in college but those concerns might be resolved after his official visit. In terms of getting a high ceiling at the position in the third round, Booker is the best option.

122nd Overall Pick: DT Mekhi Wingo

As the draft gets closer and closer, more experts are beginning to link the Bears to some of the top interior defensive linemen in the class.

While I don’t foresee the Bears addressing the position in the first round, I could easily see the Bears look to add a defensive tackle later in the draft. Mekhi Wingo is a name I kept coming back to as a potential mid-round fit for the Bears.

Coming from an SEC school, Wingo fits the mold after Poles drafted two SEC defensive tackles in last year's draft class. Out of all the top defensive tackles, Wingo also has the highest chance of still be available at this selection.
