Buccaneers get big boost on final injury report before clash with Lions
USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have some big names available on both sides of the ball when they take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

WR Chris Godwin, QB Baker Mayfield, and OLB Yaya Diaby are all cleared to play, as they avoided injury designations on the final practice report released on Friday.

Mayfield was never in doubt to play, as he was able to fight through his ankle and ribs issues to throw for 337 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Bucs' 32-9 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.  However, the fact that he practiced in full and avoided a game status designation this week is proof of how much he's progressed since last week.

Chris Godwin is also good to go, which is a major boost for the Bucs' passing game.  Godwin missed practice twice with what was listed as knee and personal reasons, but he's cleared to go on Sunday.

The Bucs will also have their leading sack producer in Yaya Diaby, who dinged up his shoulder in the win over the Eagles.  Just four days later, he turned in a full practice and is set to play on Sunday.

The Bucs still have a couple of question marks in OLB Shaquil Barrett and RB Chase Edmonds.  Both were able to return to practice in a limited fashion on Friday, a hopeful sign for their chances to play on Sunday.

The Buccaneers and Lions kick off on Sunday at 3:00 pm ET from Ford Field in Detroit.
