Browns designate LB Jordan Kunaszyk to return from injury reserve

The Cleveland Browns have designated linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk to return from his stint on the team's injury reserve list. 

Kunaszyk is a fifth-year player, and his return to the team comes at just the right time. 

Cleveland lost linebacker Anthony Walker to a hamstring injury in the first half of the Browns' Week 11 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is expected to miss weeks of action with a timeline for his return uncertain. 

Kunaszyk's return adds linebacker depth to the Browns defense that will define the rest of the NFL regular season. 

With the offense still in unknown territory, Cleveland needs anyone it can get back to sure-up the defensive side of the ball. It will be the side of the ball that wins them games for the foreseeable future. 

Kunaszyk appeared in 15 games with two starts last season with the Browns and led the team with 11 special teams tackles in 2022. He was initially placed on injury reserve in August due to a knee injury.
