Arizona Cardinals release three players to make room on roster

Following their 35-16 loss to the 49ers on Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals released CB Kris Boyd, OL Ilm Manning, and CB Christian Matthew.

This string cuts was done so they can make room on their roster for a handful of injured players that are scheduled to make their return shortly.

Included in this list of players who are expected to return in the next few weeks include QB Kyler Murray, B Garrett Wilson, OL Dennis Daley, and LB Myjai Sanders.

As for the three players that were cut, Kris Boyd and Christian Matthew have seen all of their reps via special teams this season while Ilm Manning has yet to see any playing time.
