Alvin Kamara drops the hammer on Saints coaches and players
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Saints are 5-6. Rather than leading the NFC South, they own the 12th overall pick. Their Week 12 performance against the Atlanta Falcons was extremely disappointing coming off their bye week.

Saints star running back Alvin Kamara had a solid game, but he was clearly frustrated after the loss. He says that the team doesn't have an 'identity' over halfway through the season, and New Orleans simply isn't getting the job done on the field.

"We don't have an identity as a team. We're a team that says we want to do it and we don't do it and It shows. Consistently inconsistent. ... Everybody with a Fleur-de -Lis on their body and on their head. Consistently inconsistent. I'm saying as a team."

-- Alvin Kamara

It's clear that Kamara is fed up with all of the talk. All season, players and coaches have mentioned getting back on track. At this point with their record, maybe the Saints don't really know the track.

Kamara totaled 119 total yards against Atlanta. That being said, the veteran would tell you that those are empty yards. The Saints did not score a single touchdown, and they were 0-5 in the red zone.
