7 Jaguars Named Pro Bowl Alternates, Including Trevor Lawrence and Evan Engram

Seven Jacksonville Jaguars have been named alternates for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, giving them a potential chance to join Josh Allen and Ross Matiscik. 

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, tight end Evan Engram, running back Travis Etienne, inside linebacker Foyesade Oluokun, cornerback Darious Williams, punter Logan Coke and returner Jamal Agnew were named alternates.

The Jaguars had two players make the Pro Bowl last year as alternates in Lawrence and Agnew.

Engram surpassed 100 receptions (104) this season becoming just the eighth tight end in NFL history and second Jaguars player to reach at least 100 catches in a season. Engram is currently third all-time in receptions in a season by a Jaguars player. WR Jimmy Smith has the top two spots with 116 receptions (1999) and 112 receptions (2001).

Etienne posted two rushing touchdowns in the Jaguars Week 17 win against Carolina. Etienne became the first Jaguar to post at least 10 rushing touchdowns in a single-season since Maurice JonesDrew in 2009. He also surpassed 2,000 career rushing yards. Etienne’s 11 rushing touchdowns are tied for the fourth-most in the AFC this season.

Etienne has 251 rushing attempts for 951 rushing yards including 11 rushing touchdowns. His 951 rushing yards rank fourth among running backs in the AFC. Through Week 17, Etienne has recorded 1,397 scrimmage yards. His 1,397 scrimmage yards rank fourth among running backs in the NFL. 

Through Week 17, Williams has recorded 19 passes defensed. He currently ranks second in the NFL. Through Week 17, Williams has recorded at least one pass defensed in 11 games. His 11 games with one pass defensed is tied for the second most in the NFL.

Oluokun has recorded 166 tackles (108 solo). His 166 total tackles rank third in the NFL. In 2023, Oluokun has had 10 games with at least 10 total tackles. His 10 games tie for the third-most in the NFL.

The 2024 Pro Bowl games will take place in Orlando beginning on Feb. 1. The Pro Bowl Games are a multi-day AFC vs. NFC competition with skills showdowns and a seven versus seven flag football game to be played at Camping World Stadium on Feb. 4.
