Watch: Magic's Paolo Banchero sinks off-balance game-winner to beat Pistons

The Orlando Magic found themselves in a surprisingly tight game with the eight-win Detroit Pistons on Saturday night, facing the possibility of overtime in the closing seconds.

But Paolo Banchero made sure they did not need the extra time by sinking this incredible, off-balance shot over Jalen Duren just before time ran out in the fourth quarter. Not only did he make the shot with .8 left in regulation, but he also drew a foul from Duren and sunk the ensuing free throw to give the Magic a 112-109 win.

Banchero is the Magic's top-scorer, averaging 22.8 points per game this season. He finished Saturday's game with 15 points, including the game-winning bucket.

The Magic are on track to snap their three-year playoff drought and after Saturday's win hold the No. 6 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference. They are just ahead of both the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat, who would currently be headed to the play-in tournament.
