Watch: Jeremy Lin, in tears, says 'the NBA's kind of given up on me'
Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Linsanity feels like eons ago to Jeremy Lin. The free agent guard opened up about his current situation with an emotional admission during a recent live appearance.

Lin, who has not received an iota of real interest around the NBA this summer after winning a championship with the Toronto Raptors, said he feels like “the NBA’s kind of given up on me.”

When healthy, Lin is still capable of putting up points and contributing positively to an NBA team. In 74 games last season split between the Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors, he averaged 9.6 points and 3.1 assists.

However, the past few years have seen Lin battle through multiple injuries, and at the age of 31 it seems like his next chance to play professionally will end up being overseas. The latest rumor regarding Lin is that the reigning EuroLeague champion CSKA Moscow has its eye on signing him to a contract, per Sportando.
