Pistons Sign Stanley Umude to 10-Day Contract

The Pistons have signed rookie guard/forward Stanley Umude to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.

Umude, 23, is 6-foot-6 and has been playing for the Motor City Cruise of the G League, the Pistons’ affiliate.

In 18 games with the Cruise, he’s averaging 15.3 points and 5.7 rebounds, shooting 42 percent from the field and 35 percent on 3-pointers.

A native of San Antonio, Umude went unselected in the 2022 NBA Draft. He will wear No. 14 in Detroit.
