Paul George's Very Alarming Statement on LA Clippers

For one reason or another, the LA Clippers have completely lost their way since February's Grammy road trip. The team has been a shell of itself, and both the players and coaches on the team know it.

After the Clippers suffered an embarrassing loss at home to a Hawks team without Trae Young, Paul George revealed that he didn't believe the team had an identity anymore. Not only that, but he admitted to the Clippers looking like a flip-the-switch team.

"That’s what we’re appearing to look like, which is not good, not good," George said about the Clippers being a flip-the-switch team. "We want to be a team that's consistent and you know, we want to establish an identity. I’ve always spoken about having an identity and I think it’s extremely important, when you’re a team that has an identity - teams know what they’re going up against and right now I don’t think we have an identity.”

It's game 67 for the Clippers with less than a month away before the playoffs start, for Paul George to make that statement about a veteran team is extremely alarming. The Clippers had an identity in December-January but somehow lost all of that since coming back from the Grammy road trip. The team went from being the best clutch team in the NBA, to having multiple double-digit collapses in the same month.

It's hard to say what the fix is for the LA Clippers. They've shown that they're a championship-contending team this season, but right now, they're showing themselves to be a first-round exit.
