Milwaukee Bucks Receive Major Injury Update On Jae Crowder
John Jones-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the top teams in the NBA so far this season. Led by the superstar duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, nothing would constitute a successful season unless it ends with a championship.

While the superstar duo of Antetokounmpo and Lillard is one of the best in the NBA, they won’t be able to win a title on their own. Every superstar-led team has to receive consistent production from their role players as well. Thankfully, the Bucks have a solid supporting cast.

Over the past couple of weeks, there have been rumblings that the Bucks could look to make a move or two ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Among the names that have been linked are Andrew Wiggins, Delon Wright, Tyus Jones, and more. However, a big addition is currently already on the roster.

Milwaukee Bucks Receive Major Jae Crowder Injury Update

Earlier this season, Crowder went down with a left adductor and abdominal tear against the Orlando Magic. He has missed every game since. It seems like his recovery is progressing well.

According to Bucks’ head coach Adrian Griffin, Crowder is on his way to full recovery and is working to get back on the court.

Crowder would be a big addition by himself. Even without pulling off a trade, the Bucks would take a step forward with him back on the court.

He has been a great defensive piece for the Bucks since joining last season. So far this season, he has played in just nine games, starting in two of those appearances. In those outings, he has averaged 8.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists, while shooting 51.6 percent from the three-point line.

Being able to get his defense and three-point shooting back on the court is a must for the Milwaukee Bucks. Hopefully, he is able to make his return sooner rather than later. This is a great update to hear for Bucks fans though.
