Manu Ginobili, Tim Hardaway among 2022 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class

Hardaway was a five-time All-Star and made five All-NBA teams over a 14-year career with the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers. Hardaway finished with 15,373 points, 2,855 rebounds, and 7,095 assists. 

Higgins has been coaching since 1977 and has been the head man at West Virginia since 2007. He's a two-time NCAA Division I Regional Championships winner and was elected to the NCAA Basketball Hall of Fame earlier this year. Overall, Higgins has a head-coaching record of 916-399. 

Karl is another head coach to be elected, amassing a 1,175-824 record leading the Cleveland Cavaliers, Warriors, Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings. Karl coached in the NBA All-Star Game four times and was named Coach of the Year in 2013. 

Evans was an NBA referee for 28 years, working 1,969 regular-season games and 35 NBA Finals games over his career. Evans now works for the NBA front office as an assistant supervisor. 

Cash spent four years at UConn, winning two NCAA Championships before being drafted second overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock. Over a 15-year career in the WNBA, Cash was a four-time WNBA All-Star and won three WNBA Championships. Internationally, Cash won two Olympic gold medals in 2004 and 2012. She currently serves as the Vice President of Basketball Operations and Team Development for the New Orleans Pelicans. 

Stanley has been coaching at the college or pro level since 1977, leading Old Dominion, Penn, USC, Stanford and California before moving onto the WNBA. She has assisted with the Los Angeles Sparks, Washington Mystics, New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks. She currently coaches the Indian Fever. Stanley was named WNBA Coach of the Year in 2022 and is a member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

Whalen was a standout at the University of Minnesota before being selected fourth overall in the 2004 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun. Over her 14-year WNBA career, Whalen was a five-time All-Star and won four WNBA titles. She still holds the WNBA record for career assists. Whalen has been head coach at her alma mater, Minnesota, since 2018.
