Look of the Day for Friday, March 8: Bounce-back Bridges

Purdue Fort Wayne fought hard but couldn't get it done for our Thursday Look of the Day. Let's switch over to the NBA and finish the week strong with our favorite prop bet for Friday's slate. 

Look of the Day: Miles Bridges over 31.5 points + rebounds (-115 ESPN BET)

You won't want to watch Friday night's tank-off between the 15-47 Charlotte Hornets and the 9-53 Washington Wizards, but that doesn't mean you can't bet on it. Despite the uninteresting matchup, we see some value in the player prop market. 

Miles Bridges has become a high-usage offensive weapon for the Hornets recently. The forward has played more than 35 minutes and attempted at least 15 shots in eight straight games. He's averaging 18.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game over that span, but that stretch includes a seven-point, three-rebound dud against the Orlando Magic Tuesday night. 

This is the perfect matchup for a monster bounce-back performance from Bridges. The Wizards surrender the second-most points and rebounds per game to opposing small forwards. Washington also ranks dead last in the NBA in total opponent rebounds per game and 29th in opponent shooting percentage.

Bridges torched the Wizards for 33 points and 10 rebounds in his lone matchup against them this season, and that was with LaMelo Ball, Mark Williams and Gordon Hayward in the starting lineup. None of those three players will be on the court Friday night, leaving Bridges with even more chances to rack up points and rebounds.
