Victor Wembanyama has a chance to be a stud. There's a reason many are projecting him to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
He's only 18 years old and is already 7-foot-2, 229 pounds. He's already a professional ballplayer, playing in the highest tier of basketball in France for Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92. Just on the basics, Wembanyama is impressive enough. When you actually watch him play, though, it becomes clear why he's coveted by just about every star-hungry team in the NBA.
He obviously has the size coveted by NBA teams to be a dominant big man on both sides of the court. His wingspan makes him an absolute phenom defensively, but he can use it on the offensive end as well. He's extremely talented in the paint, but he uses his wingspan on the perimeter — where he shows off a smooth stroke from outside and the type of range that's expected from big men in today's NBA.
Wembanyama is a five-tool player, and he can fill up the stat sheet night in and night out.
Don't believe it? Consider the fact that he just put up 34 points, one steal, and five blocks against one of the best team's from Israel.
Victor Wembanyama just went off against Israel's reigning champions, Hapoel Holon:

34 Points
10-17 FG
13-13 FT
1 Steal
5 Blocks
He's impossible to stop without fouling, and is doing all of that while putting a lid on the basket. Full Highlights: pic.twitter.com/OFAg0ZzotN
Making that game even more impressive is the fact that it was Wembanyama's second 34-point game in a row.
He is very likely the next big thing in the world of basketball.
Look out for Wembanyama.
