The Sacramento Kings are coming off a critical win on Monday night as they took down the Memphis Grizzlies 111-121. In Sacramento's tight race in the Western Conference, it takes them to a 39-28 record, getting ahead by a half-game as the sixth seed.
Additionally, with the Kings' win, Domantas Sabonis continued his unreal streak across this season in the stat sheet, securing his 50th-straight double-double. According to Keith Smith of Spotrac, it's a stretch only eight other players have matched across NBA history, all of whom are current or prospective members of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

SABONIS HAS 49 POINTS-REBOUNDS DOUBLE-DOUBLES AND 1…
Sabonis finished his game against the Grizzlies with 25 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists in his 40 minutes. His consistent work on the glass with being a dominant scorer for Sacramento has been vital to the team's success this season. Despite not being given All-Star honors earlier this year, his impact on the Kings has been undeniable.
With 15 games left to go in the regular season, the sky is the limit for how long Sabonis can keep this going. The longest streak since the merger was achieved by Kevin Love, with 53 straight. However, the all-time record goes to Wilt Chamberlain, who had an astounding 227 consecutive double-doubles in a row.
Sabonis has a ways to go to catch the otherworldly heights of Wilt, but keep an eye on how he fares across his next four games to see if he can top Love's numbers.
