Jusuf Nurkic responds after 'Shaqilovic' O'Neal calls him 'soft'

Shaquille O'Neal took a shot at Jusuf Nurkic for considering pressing charges on Draymond Green. Turns out he was The Big Misinformed.

Nurkic clarified to O’Neal that he had no intention of pressing criminal charges against Green for flagrant foul, despite some unsubstantiated rumors. O’Neal thought the Suns big man was considering it, which prompted his “Katt Williams moment” this week, where he threatened to expel Nurkic from his "big man alliance."

But the idea of was ludicrous, especially considering what Nurkic said after the incident.

“I want him to succeed and still be the Draymond we all know," Nurkic told reporters. “I have no bad feelings or any hate toward him.”

While Nurkic did say, “That brother needs help,” that’s a sentiment that’s been echoed by plenty of people around the NBA, including Green himself.

As for O’Neal’s assertion that Nurkic should have fought Green after the flagrant-two foul that led to Green’s ejection, Nurkic was correct in saying, "Nobody fighting in this NBA" and added he's "not losing money" in fines for a fight. After all, Green got ejected and suspended after drilling Nurkic, and the Suns won a close game with Green in the locker room.

Still, it doesn't seems like Nurkic has any bad feelings or hate toward O'Neal either, who he jokingly called "Shaqilović." In all likelihood, Shaqilović O'Neal is still welcome in Nurkic's Bosnian big man alliance.
