Jaden McDaniels dealing with sprained index finger

After leaving Minnesota's win over the Bucks Friday in Milwaukee with an injured finger, Timberwolves small forward Jaden McDaniels is questionable for Monday night's showdown in Los Angeles against the Clippers.

The Timberwolves have listed McDaniels questionable with a left index finger sprain.

McDaniels suffered the injury in the second half and asked out of the game and did not return. Timberwolves insider Jon Krawczynski has reported that the injury "doesn't seem overly serious."

If McDaniels doesn't play against the Clippers it could prompt another start for Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who has entered the starting lineup at points this season when McDaniels was out with a sprained ankle and when point guard Mike Conley was dealing with hamstring soreness.

Monday will also feature the debut of guard Monte Morris, whom the Wolves acquired in a trade with the Pistons last Wednesday.
