Houston Rockets Reportedly Sign 10-Year NBA Veteran
USA TODAY Sports

Reggie Bullock is coming off a solid year where he played in 78 regular season games for the Dallas Mavericks.

The 32-year-old averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 40.9% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range.

This summer, Bullock was traded from Dallas to the San Antonio Spurs.

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium recently reported that the Spurs and Bullock had agreed to a contract buyout.

Now, Charania reports that Bullock will likely sign a deal with the Houston Rockets (once he clears waivers).

Via Charania: "Free agent Reggie Bullock plans to sign with the Houston Rockets after he clears waivers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bullock – a 38.4% 3-point shooter over 10 NBA seasons – fielded interest from several teams following buyout and gives Houston a reliable 3&D wing."

In addition to Dallas, Bullock has also played for the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

Over ten seasons in the league, he has career averages of 7.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range.

As for the Rockets, they are coming off a year where they were the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record (they missed the NBA playoffs for the third straight season).

Despite their recent struggles, the franchise will be expected to do much better this year, as they made significant additions to the roster over the offseason.
