Golden State Warriors Reportedly Interested In Former Player?
USA TODAY Sports

Kent Bazemore initially went undrafted in 2012, but the veteran forward has played ten seasons in the NBA.

Most recently, Bazemore played for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2021-22 season when he averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 32.4% from the field and 36.3% from the three-point range in 39 games.

He has been a free agent and still remains available to be signed by any team in the league.

On Wednesday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported intel from around the league and revealed that the Golden State Warriors recently worked out seven players (including Bazemore).

Via Scotto's article on HoopsHype: "The Golden State Warriors continue to host NBA veterans for workouts. Recent participants included former Warriors Kent Bazemore, Juan Toscano-Anderson and Dewayne Dedmon, along with free agents Will Barton, Jaylen Nowell, Stanley Johnson and Derrick Favors, league sources told HoopsHype."

In addition to the Warriors and Lakers, Bazemore has also spent time with the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings.

His career averages are 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.3% from the field and 35.6% from the three-point range in 657 regular season games (he has also appeared in 41 NBA playoff games).

As for the Warriors, they are coming off a year where they were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.

They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.
