Devin Booker, Chris Paul combine for 60 to lead Suns to seventh straight win

The Phoenix Suns faced a hard fight from the short-handed Utah Jazz on Monday night, but the duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul turned up the heat when the team needed it to secure a 115-109 win.

Booker scored 33 points with seven rebounds and three assists, but Paul's game was even more impressive. The 36-year-old point guard scored 27 points with 14 assists and nine rebounds. The scoring total was the most for Paul since Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

Utah was without several key contributors, including Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, and Mike Conley. The Suns led for most of the first half, building a lead to as much as 13 points before the Jazz roared back with a 21-7 run just before halftime.

While the teams traded the lead back and forth for much of the second half, the Suns pulled away in the fourth quarter on the back of Paul's big day. In the fourth quarter alone, Paul scored 15 to bury the Jazz.

The Suns have now won seven straight and have the best record in the NBA at 37-9. The Jazz fell to 30-18 and are still fourth in the Western Conference.
