Bucks’ Patrick Beverley Downgraded vs. 76ers
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

On Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Milwaukee Bucks as they look to prevent a two-game losing streak, following their loss against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.

While he didn't feature in the Sixers' first match against the Knicks last week, Tyrese Maxey made his return on Tuesday night, posting 17 points on 42 percent shooting, while also dishing out four assists.

This wouldn't be enough to take down the Knicks though, as Jalen Brunson would make up for his offensive woes on Monday night by scoring 20 points. The bigger storyline for New York would be, Josh Hart would also go to work against Philadelphia posting a 20-point,  19-rebound, ten-assist triple-double.

The Sixers' offensive struggle comes amid an injury crisis, which is set to continue on Thursday night, as De'Anthony Melton and Robert Covington will continue to be sidelined.

While Philadelphia finds themselves without a few of their key players, the same can be said for the Bucks, who have a plethora of players downgraded for Thursday night.

One of these players is former Sixer Patrick Beverley, who has been downgraded to probable due to soreness in his right hip.

The 35-year-old guard appeared in the Bucks' loss to the Sacramento Kings earlier in the week, in which he managed to score four points on 25 percent from the field.

This won't be Beverley's first time facing the Sixers since departing the team at the trade deadline having played against them in late February, when he put up three points.

The 11-year-veteran was a constant figure for Philadelphia earlier on in the season, appearing in 47 games, where he averaged six points and three assists.

The Sixers are set to take on the Bucks on Thursday night, with tip-off slated for 8:00 p.m. EST.
