Bucks get Serge Ibaka, Pistons acquire Marvin Bagley III as part of four-team trade

The Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings have completed a blockbuster seven-player trade just hours before Thursday's NBA trade deadline, according to multiple reports. The deal also involves multiple future draft picks.

In the move, the Bucks will get Serge Ibaka from the Clippers and two future second-round picks from the Pistons. Detroit will acquire Marvin Bagley III from the Kings, Los Angeles picks up Semi Ojeleye and Rodney Hood from Milwaukee and Sacramento is set to land Donte DiVincenzo from the Bucks and Josh Jackson and Trey Lyles from the Pistons.

This is the second mega-trade of the week for the Kings, as they sent off highly touted young guard Tyrese Haliburton, sharpshooter Buddy Hield and big man Tristan Thompson to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday in exchange for two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday. The Clippers have been busy as well, as they picked up Norman Powell and Robert Covington from the Portland Trail Blazers as part of a five-player deal last week.

ESPN's Jamal Collier reported Thursday afternoon how all of the teams could be impacted by the big trade.

"Ibaka provides help for the Bucks, who have been looking for help in the frontcourt with center Brook Lopez sidelined from back surgery earlier in the season. Ibaka, 32, is averaging 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 35 games (10 starts) for the Clippers this season," Collier wrote.

"Bagley will be a restricted free agent this summer, and his future in Sacramento had been in question since the start of the season, when his agent called out the Kings for not including him in their rotation on opening night."

According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, per Collier's report, Thursday's trade allows the L.A. to save $30 million in the deal toward the luxury tax. They also get a trade exception in the deal while being able to get a look at Hood and Ojeleye, both who are on expiring contracts.
