Brandin Podziemski's Post On X After Warriors-Rockets Game
USA TODAY Sports

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Houston Rockets at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Warriors won the game by a score of 121-116, and Steph Curry led the way with 32 points and five rebounds.

Rookie Brandin Podziemski played 18 minutes, and had three points, five rebounds and three assists while shooting 1/2 from the field.

After the victory, he sent out a post on X.

Podziemski wrote: "No better feeling then winning #dubnation"

Podziemski was the 19th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Santa Clara, and he has played in ten games so far this season.

He is averaging 6.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 45.5% from the three-point range.

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 7-8 in their first 15 games, and they snapped a six-game losing streak.

They are now 2-6 in the eight games that they have hosted on their home floor at the Chase Center.

Following the Rockets, the Warriors will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.

The Warriors are coming off a season where they were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.

They defeated the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).

The franchise has won four NBA Championships over the previous nine seasons.
