Timmy Hill confronts Stewart Friesen on pit road at Martinsville

After the Martinsville Truck Series race ended, Stewart Friesen dumped Timmy Hill out of nowhere, and it caused a confrontation on pit road. Hill and Friesen have raced one another for years and the two veterans were at odds following this NASCAR race.

Christian Eckes won the Long John Silver’s 200. Meanwhile, Stewart Friesen and Timmy Hill were fighting to get into the top-15. Friesen was a top-10 truck throughout the night. The thing is, Friesen finished one spot ahead of Hill at the end of the race. So, it doesn’t make much sense.

What Friesen was mad about were the drivers who caused him to be wrecked time and time again. NASCAR did order Kaden Honeycutt and his crew chief to the hauler after the race.

But when it came to Friesen dumping Hill postrace, that was strictly between the two of them. Hill was furious and wanted answers from Friesen.

“You know better than these f------ kids. … You get wasted by everyone else, except for f------ me,” Hill yelled at Friesen, via Toby Christie. “I don’t waste you, these f------ kids do, you know better than that. Now you f------ toast my truck. You’re supposed to be better than that, not these f------ kids, you’re supposed to be better.”

Timmy Hill has a right to be mad. Timmy and his brother Tyler own Hill Motorsports and that No. 56 truck is their truck. When it gets wrecked, they are the ones paying it. Not to mention, Stewart Friesen is in the same boat, he should understand more than anyone.

Stewart Friesen gets into another driver squabble

This time, things didn’t get physical. However, Stewart Friesen has had issues already this season with other drivers. The results have just not been there for Friesen. At this point last season he had a top-5 finish under his belt.

There was frustration. Friesen has been frustrated most of the season. However, you can’t just take that out on a random driver and team and not expect them to be upset about it afterward. A bad look for Friesen after he was already not in a great light following his actions at Bristol with Nick Sanchez.

In that incident, Friesen looked a little ridiculous as well. You can complain about young drivers making mistakes. It happens a ton in the Truck Series. So far this season, Friesen has picked on a driver who really didn’t do anything wrong (Sanchez) and this time he took his anger out on someone not even involved.

Stewart Friesen has had a frustrating season. I get it. He has to either focus that frustration on the drivers responsible for wrecking him, or just suck it up. He’s been in this series long enough to know that this is more or less part of the deal.
