World Series picks: Best Game 4 bets for Diamondbacks vs. Rangers

The Texas Rangers bounced back from a 9-1 drubbing in Game 2 and knocked off the Arizona Diamondbacks, 3-1, in Game 3 of the World Series Monday night. Texas, which is now 9-0 on the road in the playoffs, has a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the championship series in Game 4.

Let's break down the matchup and target two best bets for Game 4 of the World Series.

Diamondbacks moneyline (-108 FanDuel)

This pick didn't go well in Game 3, but we're going right back to the well in Game 4.

In what will be a bullpen game for both teams, we're trusting the Diamondbacks pitching staff that's been lights out all postseason. The Rangers bullpen, on the other hand, was a below-average group all season and gave up five earned runs to Arizona in just three innings pitched in Game 2.

Torey Lovullo has been masterful with his handling of the bullpen in the playoffs. As an added bonus, Rangers slugger Adolis Garcia may not be healthy enough to suit up after he injured his back in Game 3.

Andrew Heaney under 9.5 outs (-145 DraftKings)

Bruce Bochy has a clear plan for every Heaney start this postseason. The Rangers manager will let Heaney pitch until he gets in trouble, then he'll quickly go to the bullpen and grab Dane Dunning, who started 26 games for Texas in the regular season. In both of Heaney's starts in the playoffs, Bochy pulled him at the first sign of trouble.

The left-hander didn't make it out of the first inning in his Game 4 start against the Houston Astros in the ALCS, and he'll be on a similarly short leash in Game 4 of the World Series.
