Watch: Rangers slugger hits record-breaking walk-off home run in Game 1 of World Series

Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia tied the record for most RBI in a postseason with 21 after a first-inning RBI single, but he broke the record in style vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks, continuing a magical postseason run in Arlington.

In the bottom of the 11th inning, the American League Championship Series MVP smoked a 3-1 pitch from D-backs pitcher Miguel Castro deep to right field and over the fence, walking off Game 1 in dramatic fashion.

Already a fan favorite, Garcia continues to add to his legacy amongst Rangers fans with every swing. With jaw-dropping power, Garcia routinely crushes the ball and he lets you know it

Playing in his first postseason, the 30-year-old Garcia is slashing .357/.400/.804 with eight home runs and 22 RBI in 56 at-bats in what might be the single-most dominant postseason in MLB history when it's all said and done.

Acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals in 2019, he hasn't had an easy path to the MLB. After only six at-bats with the Rangers in 2020 he was designated for assignment in February 2021 to make room for pitcher Mike Foltynewicz. With no team claiming him, he was sent to the minors before being recalled by the Rangers on April 13, 2021, and has been with the team ever since.

Earning two trips to the All-Star Game and slugging 97 home runs while driving in 299 runs for the Rangers in the last three seasons, Garcia has found a home in Texas.

With at least three games remaining in the 2023 campaign, he has plenty of time to add to his historic postseason as the Rangers look to win their first World Series title in franchise history.
