Watch: Diamondbacks 2B Ketel Marte ties incredible postseason streak in Game 1 of World Series

Ketel Marte's incredible postseason continued in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night.

The Diamondbacks second baseman smashed an RBI double in the top of the fifth inning, increasing his playoff hit streak to 17 games and tying a Major League record.

Marte equals the mark held by Manny Ramirez (2003-2004), Derek Jeter (1998-1999) and Hank Bauer (1956-1958). The NLCS MVP has 20 hits in this postseason alone, the most in Diamondbacks history.

The 30-year-old veteran has been one of the standouts for Arizona, helping them make a remarkable run to the World Series. Over the wild card, divisional and championship series, Marte batted .359/.382/.604 with 19 hits, two home runs and seven RBI.
