This Is What Josh Bell After Big Night For The Guardians

Josh Bell has had a slow start to the season after signing with the Cleveland Guardians to be their power threat in the lineup. However, he appears to be turning the corner and getting back on track.

As the Guardians took on the Nationals down in the country's capital, Bell finally got in the home run column as he smoked his first one of the year. Bell's seventh-inning blast brought the Guardians within one run and set the stage for Will Brennan to give the Guardians the lead in the eighth inning.

Bell is self-aware that he hasn't been off to the start of the season that he would've liked. But being back in a familiar place such as D.C. helped him find the rhythm again. After the game, Bell said,

"I'd be a liar if I said I weren't comfortable here. It was good to get back into the cages here, get back into a box I'm familiar with and hopefully this is a step in the right direction."

Bell spent two seasons in Washington after starting his career in Pittsburgh. He was then traded at last season's deadline to San Diego and signed with Cleveland in the offseason.

It's great to see Bell finally get a home run and be that intimidating presence in the box we all know he is.
