The introduction of a universal DH in MLB will lead to some more jobs, and Albert Pujols could be a beneficiary of the rule change.

Pujols is a free agent and receiving interest from three different teams, according to a report from Univision’s Mike Rodriguez. Rodriguez says the Colorado Rockies, Seattle Mariners and St. Louis Cardinals are the teams with interest in the DH.

Rodriguez identified the Rockies as being most interested in the 42-year-old.

Pujols was cut by the Angels last season and signed with the Dodgers, for whom he batted .254 with a .759 OPS. The future Hall of Famer could still have good value as a platoon player.

Although he struggled against right-handed pitching, Pujols batted .294 with a .939 OPS against lefties last season. Last season, 13 of his 17 home runs came against southpaws.

Pujols could still find himself a job as a specialist against left-handed pitchers.
