Padres Notes: O's Give Friars the L, Machado Still Hopeful, Choi Heads to the IL

The Padres lost to the high-flying Baltimore Orioles Monday night as the offense was only able to put together _ hits. Things were going relatively well for the Padres before Yu Darvish let up three hits and a walk in the fifth inning to give the O's a 4-0 lead.

The Padres will play the Orioles again tomorrow night at 6:40 p.m. PDT. 

In other news, Manny Machado is still confident his Padres can make the postseason and the Friars received some bad news concerning one of their recent trade acquisitions.
