MLB HR props for Thursday 8/10: Look for a bomb from Bohm

It's a quiet Thursday in MLB with just four night games on the schedule, but that doesn't mean we can't find any valuable props to target. Here are the three players I'm betting to hit a home run on Thursday night.

Alec Bohm (+430 FanDuel)

Alec Bohm is swinging the hottest bat in the Philadelphia Phillies' lineup right now. The third baseman is batting .375 with three home runs and 11 RBIs over the last two weeks, and he's hit two homers in his last four starts. In 20 career at-bats against Washington Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, Bohm is hitting .350 with two home runs and two doubles. Oh, and the projected 29 percent boost to home runs at Citizens Bank Park (Ballpark Pal) is the highest mark of the day.

Triston Casas (+430 FD)

There aren't many hitters in MLB seeing the ball better than Triston Casas over the last month. In the last 30 days, Casas ranks first in the league in slugging percentage (.778), second in OPS (1.212), and third in home runs (nine). The first baseman has cooled off a bit over the last week, but two of his last four hits have still been homers. This price is high because the Kansas City Royals are trotting out a lefty starting pitcher Thursday, but I'm trusting the hot bat to prevail here.

Enrique Hernandez (+750 FD)

Enrique Hernandez is swinging the bat well of late with 13 hits in his last 41 at-bats. Only one of those hits was a home run, but I think he has a good chance to put one out Thursday night. Hernandez has plenty of experience against Colorado Rockies starter Ty Blach, as he's faced the left-hander 23 times and took him deep once before. I'll take a shot at the big price here.
