MLB betting: 3 best home run bets for Tuesday 4/2

We were unable to cash a home run bet on Monday night, but we're feeling good about Tuesday's slate with some favorable wind in the forecast across MLB. Here are our three favorite HR props for Tuesday night.

Ronald Acuna Jr. (+320 FanDuel)

Braves vs. White Sox, 7:40 p.m. ET

According to Swish Analytics, the wind will be blowing strongly out to left field at Guaranteed Rate Field Tuesday night. That's a tough break for Chicago White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet, who has to make his second career MLB start against a loaded Atlanta Braves lineup. Acuna has yet to hit a home run in 2024, but this is the perfect spot for him to get on the board. The Braves outfielder hit eight home runs and recorded a .964 OPS against lefties last season. This price on FanDuel isn't fully factoring in the helping wind, so we're jumping on it.

Cody Bellinger (+500 FD)

Rockies vs. Cubs, 7:40 p.m. ET

Wrigley Field is another park with favorable weather for hitters, as the wind will be blowing strongly out to right field during Tuesday night's game between the Chicago Cubs and the Colorado Rockies. Bellinger led the Cubs last season in batting average (.337), slugging percentage (.596) and home runs (10) against lefties, and he's hit Kyle Freeland well in his career. The outfielder is batting .346 and slugging .539 against Freeland in 29 at-bats against the left-hander. This is a solid price on a great matchup.

Evan Carter (+750 FD)

Rangers vs. Rays, 6:50 p.m. ET

Zach Eflin gets the start for the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night, and he's coming off a disappointing season debut in which he gave up three home runs. He also gave up five earned runs and two homers against the Texas Rangers in the AL Wild Card last season, so this feels like a good spot to fade the right-hander. Let's take a stab at Evan Carter, who has a home run and a walk in two career ABs against Eflin.
