The New York Mets began the week in first place in the National League East standings, but their biggest win of the first half of July came away from Citi Field and any diamond.
As Gabrielle Fonrouge of the New York Post explained, model Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, took to social media on Saturday to request help in finding her dog, who broke away from a walker in Queens near Citi Field.
Enter the Mets, who utilized their massive Twitter audience to spread the word of the missing pup.

Edens later admitted she grew up rooting for the New York Yankees but added she's now true to the orange and blue moving forward.
Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart to the @Mets and to everyone who helped us find Prince ❤️. I got my baby back. A Mets fan for life https://t.co/pX6FYVJcBJ

While we're sure Prince is a very good boy, his baseball allegiances weren't known as of Tuesday afternoon.
