By now, it’s no secret what New York Yankees star Aaron Judge has been able to accomplish.
The 30-year-old slugger went on a tear at the plate in 2022 and broke the single-season home run record in the American League, going deep 62 times.
That was enough to earn Judge American League MVP honors.
But one former slugger believes he can still challenge Judge to a Home Run Derby.
Jose Canseco, a former Yankee himself, took a few swings and made sure to film them.
He posted the video on Twitter and challenged Judge to a derby, saying he doubts that the AL MVP can hit a ball as far as him.
Aaron judge I am getting ready for you let's see if you can hit a baseball as far as I can hit a softball I doubt that very much let me know when you're ready we'll do the competition for charity pic.twitter.com/riWXN8Z878

Clearly, Canseco still has that competitive firepower in him and believes he can still crush home runs.
He sure knew how to hit it a long way.
But Judge certainly knows how to do that as well, and it would be hard to imagine him declining this challenge.
The 58-year-old Canseco still looks like he can hit the ball pretty far, so this should be interesting.
With spring training still a month away, this would give us a little something to watch while we wait for baseball to return.
It won’t be long, but who wouldn’t want to see Judge and Canseco go at it in a competition to see who can hit a ball the farthest?
Judge would likely be the favorite, given that he is still in his prime, but you can never count out The Chemist.
