The Cleveland Guardians have been looking for more pitching in their rotation and in their bullpen since the season began back in March. It only took until the final day in August for them to get some answers for their pitching staff.

Cleveland claimed Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Matt Moore off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels, and a couple of them were activated along with a couple of other roster moves on Friday afternoon.

Cal Qauntrill And David Fry Activated From Injured List

The Guardians are finally getting healthy as they make a push for the AL Central.

Cal Qauntrill hasn't pitched in a Big League game since July 5. He's been on the IL with right shoulder inflammation and it has taken him a number of rehab starts to get back to the Big Leagues. The organization activated Cal on Friday to start against the Rays.

David Fry can be described as a super-utility player making appearances all over the world this season. He's missed time with a strained hamstring but is now back to help the Guardians in September.

Reynaldo Lopez And Matt Moore Added To Roster

Cleveland picked up two solid bullpen arms in Lopez and Moore from the Angels without giving up a single prospect in the process. It was an opportunity they couldn't pass up.

Both Lopez and Moore were added to the roster and will be available to make their Guardians debut on Friday.

Lucas Giolito has yet to be added to Cleveland's roster

Jose Tena Promoted To Major League

One move that may get overlooked in all the other transactions was Jose Tena being called back up to the Big League roster.

Tena played in a handful of games in early August but was sent back down.
