One of the exciting points for the Los Angeles Dodgers' upcoming season is the return of Gavin Lux. Lux was expected to be one of the up-and-comers for the Dodgers last season and take over the role of shortstop, but he didn't even get the chance due to a torn ACL suffered during Spring Training.

Lux's injury caused him to miss the entirety of 2023. He is now ready to go ahead of the 2024 season and will look to take that shortstop spot again.

Lux provided fans with another update at DodgerFest, saying that unless there are any unexpected setbacks, he'll be ready for Spring Training. He added that his knee "feels great," via Noah Camras of dodgersnation.com.

Dodgers' pitchers and catchers will report on Thursday, February 9th, while the rest of the team will report on Wednesday, February 14th. Their first Spring Training matchup will take place on February 22nd against the San Diego Padres.

When asked if he would be ready for the Opening Day of the season, Lux added, "I'll be in Korea," per Camras.

Assuming all goes to plan, the Dodgers will get to see Lux play again in the regular season when the Dodgers take on the Padres in Korea on March 20th and 21st. Lux and the Dodgers will be back at Dodgers Stadium for their first home game a week later on March 28th against the St. Louis Cardinals.

When Lux last played for the Dodgers in 2022, he had his best season yet, batting .276 while putting up 116 hits, 42 RBIs and 66 runs in 129 games played.
