Former Dodger Rich Hill Has Hilarious Response to Anthony Rendon's Comments About MLB Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had plenty of pitchers who've done great work for the organization, especially in the last decade of their dominance. Many players have come and gone, but none are more beloved than four-year Dodger, Rich Hill. 

Hill was a Dodger from 2016 to 2019 and was fantastic in Los Angeles. Although he was past his prime, the southpaw provided the Dodgers with leadership and toughness. He was a big part of their two World Series appearances in 2017 and 2018 during that time frame. 

The veteran left-hander was great for the organization, and to this day, he still makes Dodger fans smile. In a recent appearance with Rob Bradford on Baseball Isn't Boring, he took a shot at Angels' highly-paid third baseman Anthony Rendon regarding his "baseball is too long" comments. 

"I would like to see the season go all year... I want to continue to play. If you enjoy it and you love something and you're passionate about it, of course you want to have good outcomes but it's more than that. It's the competitiveness and the ability to go out there and put yourself up against the best. You can't do it anywhere else except the big leagues."
