Boston Red Sox Roster Moves 4/8
Jim Rassol-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Red Sox are off tonight before starting a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow which will also be their home opener and will see them honor the 2004 World Series team as well as the late Tim Wakefield as well as his wife Stacy, and the late former President and CEO of the team Larry Larry Lucchino. The game will feature Bryan Bello making his third start of the season, he is 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, and eight strikeouts in ten innings. Bello is taking on Corbin Burnes who is also making his third start and is 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA, a 0.86 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 11.2 innings. The Red Sox made the following roster moves today as they optioned INF Bobby Dalbec to Triple-A Worcester and called up INF Romy Gonzalez from Triple-A Worcester. A move that made sense with Gonzalez’s hot start and the injury to Trevor Story.
