Wizards Cut Devon Dotson, Michael Foster Jr.
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Wizards have waived guard Devon Dotson and forward Michael Foster Jr., per a team press release.

The moves were expected and will send both players to the Capital City Go-Go of the G League. Each will have the opportunity to earn a bonus of up to $75,000 should they remain with the franchise for up to 60 days.

Dotson, 24, has appeared in 28 total games in three years with the Wizards and Bulls. He signed a two-way deal with Washington last season, before being waived in January. While with the Go-Go, Dotson averaged 14.8 points, 6.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 29 games.

Foster, 20, appeared in 41 games with the Delaware Blue Coats, compiling averages of 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. His player rights were traded to the Go-Go in early October.

The Wizards have 19 players on the roster, with one two-way slot still available.
