Heading into the highly touted Week 1 matchup against LSU, one position group from Florida State's defense under the spotlight is the linebackers.

Evidently, this game features two incredible dual-threat quarterbacks, and LSU's Jayden Daniels is capable of putting together huge plays. The Seminoles' linebackers have to be disciplined and make good reads consistently to eliminate chances of Daniels being a huge game changer on the ground.

Tatum Bethune sent a message for the Seminoles from the middle linebacker position. Daniels tried to run up the middle of the field and hurdle the defense, but Bethune met him in the air and drove him into the ground.

So far, the defense has been struggling against the Tigers. Tackling -- specifically from the secondary -- has been poor. A hit like this from Bethune is huge for building momentum from the defense and is much-needed so far in this matchup.

While the defense has struggled, they've put together two huge fourth-down stops to earn the ball back while only giving up one touchdown.

Through the first quarter, the Seminoles and Tigers were tied at seven points apiece, with another close game brewing so far in Orlando.
