The hype train for Tennessee Vols QB Nico Iamaleava is pretty high right now, and after his last time on the football field, it's not hard to understand why.
The freshman QB made his first career start in the Vols' 35-0 romp over the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl in New Year's Day. Iamaleava accounted for four touchdowns, completing 12/19 attempts for 151 yards with a passing score and running for three more. He earned bowl game MVP honors.
Now, Iamaleava and the Vols are back on the field again as the team conducts its third practice of the spring on Wednesday. And Iamaleava gets to work with a new face that should have Tennessee fans excited for the Fall: WR Chris Brazzell II.
The Tennessee football Twitter/X account posted a video on Wednesday morning showing Brazzell II laying out to make a catch from his new QB.

Brazzell II announced back in December that he would be transferring from Tulane to Tennessee. Brazzell II is the son of former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Chris Brazzell, who played for Dallas from 1999-2000 before spending the rest of his career in the Canadian Football League.
Brazzell II's talent and upside is undeniable, and having just one season under his belt, his room to grow is significant. At Tulane last season, he led the Green Wave with 44 catches for 711 yards and 5 touchdowns for which he earned freshman All-American honors. He comes to Tennessee with three years of eligibility remaining.
With Bru McCoy returning, Donte' Thornton turning a corner in the second half of the season, Squirrel White back, and a number of intriguing freshmen entering the mix in Mike Matthews and Braylon Staley among others, Tennessee's wide receiver room is dripping with talent.
However, the Vols could have their next truly electric one in Brazzell II. He will certainly have the attention of Tennessee fans when the Vols hold their annual Orange and White game on Saturday, April 13.
