Florida State  was one of the biggest stories of the 2023 college football season. There was a perfect chance they had what it took to win it all. Still, a season-ending injury to their quarterback, Jordan Travis, late in the season hurt their title hopes. After a 13-0 regular season finish and winning the ACC title,  Florida State saw themselves on the outside looking into the playoffs.

Florida State Failed To Make The Playoffs

The Seminoles were the first power-five team in the history of the college football playoff to go undeafted and not make the College Football Playoff and saw two one-loss teams, Alabama and Texas, jump over them as the last two teams in the playoff.

The Seminoles Showed Off Their New Rings

For weeks, Florida State’s not making the playoffs was a huge talking point. They played in the Orange Bowl against Georgia and lost 63-3. Many opposing fans were making fun of them because they made a huge deal about not going to the playoffs and getting beatdown in the bowl game. Still, opposing fans are currently having a great time on social media after what Florida State revealed this week on their X account.

Rival Fans Had A Great Laugh

The Seminoles posted pictures of their 2023 ACC title rings, and on the side of the rings, they showed the record of 13-0, but the only issue was they lost their bowl game, which made them 13-1, and many rivals fans went on social media to attack them.

I understand the rings were for their regular season and for the ACC, which they did go perfect in. At the same time, they had to know that putting 13-0 on the ring was going to get a lot of harsh feedback since they did lose a game, and bowl games do count towards records in college football.
