The Hawks are officially wheeling and dealing, as they say goodbye to three players who have only been on their roster for a few days. TyTy Washington and Usman Garuba were acquired by the Hawks from the Rockets in exchange for 2017 60th overall pick Alpha Kaba.
The Hawks have reached a deal with the Houston Rockets, sending Alpha Kaba to Houston in exchange for TyTy Washington Jr., Usman Garuba, Houston’s 2028 second rounder, rights to Minnesota’s 2025 second rounder, and $1.1 million in cash.
